I am interested in learning 3rd language too, but I am confused between Spanish, French and German.

Considering French and Spanish, I think each of them will be a helpful aspect to work in the international organisations like the UN. Nevertheless many people warns me that french will be difficult to learn at the age of 23.

With regard to German, I think that it may promote me to get a master degree in Germany, but in the same time, it will limit my choices since there are very few countries offer courses in Germany, so what do you think?.

Finally, I recommend you Spanish as more countries speak Spanish, specially, the very beautiful countries in South America Continent.

I'm just glad that my uncle hadn't heard this when he started learning Arabic in the age of 3 times 23....

Fares, forget this:)

French and Spanish are very similar in terms of vocabulary and grammar, but Spanish pronunciation and spelling are much easier. If you learn one it will be easy to learn the other. German is more difficult than both of these for most people. That thing with age is complete nonsense. I only get better at learning languages as I get older. I started with French at 24 and did just fine.

Supeingo no benkyô ha ganbatte ne.

My third language was Spanish and my fourth was Japanese, it's 2 languages I really like. I would advise you to learn French because I'm French but it depends how you want to use the languages in the future. Are you more interested in French-speaking or Spanish-speaking countries ?

If you start Spanish, a lot of people can advise you methods or lessons to learn quickly but I advise you to listen latin songs like salsa, bachata, merengue and particularly the song "Une bachata en Fukuoka" making a link between Spanish and Japanese culture. ^_^
