My office is situated in an apartment building in the residential area in a very lively neighborhood. I have always thought that it is unremarkable, ordinary apartment block.<o:p></o:p>

I was mistaken.<o:p></o:p>

It turned to be a quite place where lives a lot of officials from our local government. Despite having their own luxury cars (BMW, Mercedes, Toyota) they keep using cars provided by the government.<o:p></o:p>

I noticed many times how very expensive cars (last model of Toyota Camry), obviously with personal drivers take them from home to work and back. Those cars during the work time deliver some of the officials and their families from a job for a lunch, from supermarkets with a lot of goods and so on.<o:p></o:p>

Somewhere deep inside me looking at it, I had some outrage. All of it from our budget. Why so expensive cars? Why don’t they use cars made in Russia?<o:p></o:p>

Why so unnecessary luxury like a personal driver?<o:p></o:p>

Why should the driver get a salary from our common budget for nothing to do while waiting for many hours his host in the yard?<o:p></o:p>

They are served for their nation. How could they afford themselves spend money for so stupid way?<o:p></o:p>

You are the VIP person from the government? You merit privileges? OK, here is your free of cost ticket for all kind of public transport. <o:p></o:p>

Every time I saw it, I was so outraged, that if I someone from them told me something at that moment I’d say all that I think to their face. But, fortunately, I had common sense to keep myself in control.<o:p></o:p>

This was just the introduction. <o:p></o:p>

The plot is that yesterday night two, obviously professional, thieves without any troubles stole Toyota Land Cruiser 200 (worth 100 thousand dollars) which belongs to one of the officials. In the morning there were at least 15 policemen. Like it was a terror attack.<o:p></o:p>

Who don’t know, I’d clarify. <o:p></o:p>

The real economy situation in Russia is so, that no one who is honest and working hard can not buy Land Cruiser 200. If you are official and own a luxury car worth more than 35 thousand dollars, it automatically means that you are a thief.<o:p></o:p>

What can I say, I don’t feel sorry for that men. <o:p></o:p>

People say “What comes around, goes around” …<o:p></o:p>
