I recently visited Mexico City and I couldn't help but realize how much of "American culture" (I know I shouldn't say that but let's use that term for now) is in Mexico. Mexicans were singing Taylor swift songs, talking about the Kardashians, etc. They knew more about American pop culture than I did!

I was both surprised, but at the same time I understood what was happening. Over a million people from the U.S. live in Mexico, and Mexican-Americans travel a lot between the two countries, so exchange in culture is inevitable.

What are your thoughts about the cultural exchange between Mexico and the U.S.? Do you think it is a good thing/bad thing?
