Hi. Could you recommend some games to gain or widen knowledge and improve my English?
I will add that my favourite is the game of Millionaires.
Scrabble, Taboo and Scattergories will be great for you!
In Scrabble, you get letters and you have to make words with those. The longer the word, the more points you get.
In Taboo, you have card with a word on it, and then you have to find words that are synonyms or something similar to describe the main word.
One of my favorites is Scattegories. Here they give you a categories and a letter and you have to fill it up with words that match. For example: Music and R = Rock (I believe you can play this online as well).
Hope this helps!

I'm playing Spanish versions of the games "Seven Little Words," "Quizup," "Four Pics, One Word," and "Lyricstraining" to improve my Spanish. They all have English versions.
"Seven Little Words" gives you a new free puzzle every day, but of course they would like you to buy puzzles and hints. You see a screenful of word fragments, and seven word definitions, and you have to make words that match the definitions by using the fragments.
"Quizup" is free, but it contains little banner ads. It is a timed, interactive quiz game; you are playing against another opponent somewhere on the Web. It is an interesting exercise because you have only a few seconds in which to glance at and understand the question, so it forces rapid comprehension.
"Four Pics, One Word" is difficult if you want to avoid paying! You see four pictures and you have to guess at the single word that describes all four. I often get stuck, but if you wait a day they will give you the first letter. As you complete each word, you win four "coins," and you can use coins to buy hints.
lyricstraining.com is helping me improve my ability to listen and identify words. You are shown a YouTube video of a popular song, and one of the things I like about lyricstraining is that, being popular songs, you get a variety of national accents, rapid speech, and many colloquialisms. Within the lyrics, there are gaps you have to fill. With the setting I am using, 25% of the words are missing, and I am given four possible choices and have to pick the right one.
Hi Olivier
Your ,,play in words" , certainly contributes to improve my English :)
