What the reason for asking around simple question which you can get the answer by Google it.
In other app, many people are asking really simple questions like "How do you say hola in English?".
Also, not so many but some people here doing similar thing.

While one can get the answer much faster by asking Google, why would they dare to ask to other people? And those posts are burying other more complicated questions:(

Anybody knows the reason for doing it?

It's simple, Aki. People need attention. It's normal. Sometimes everyone can feel lonely. At that moment, all you need is attention. You need somebody to take care of you. That's OK.

My opinion is that people have different styles for obtaining information and different styles for getting what they need in life.  Some of us like to be more independent in our investigations, are comfortable searching online, and find Google more efficient, but other people have a style of living for which their habit is to ask others for help as their first step in any process, before they put too much independent effort in.  I think these types of people just prefer to ask, and do not always put much thought into whether they are asking in the most efficient manner.
