Your first job

Today I want to write about my first job. It was a long time ago, so I don't remember everything in details. In any case I would like to refresh my memory. I got my first job when I was 13 working at a store warehouse. My mother worked at this grocery store as a shop assistant and she got me that job. Life loading and unloading trucks was no picnic, let me tell you, but I wanted to get spending money, so I had to put up with it. There were no allowances in my family because back in 90s almost everyone suffered from the debacle in Russia. I lasted at the job only 2 months and then I up and quit one day. A few weeks later a good friend of mine got me a job working construction in Moscow. We had to assemble stages for some events in different parts of the city. I was paid about 150r an hour which I considered a fortune. It was a really tough and dangerous job. We had to climb high taking long and heavy parts to the top of those scenes. After about 6 months I was not able to work there any longer because I had it up to here with the job. Worse yet, my lower back was flaring up again, so I tried to look for a better job, less dangerous, more interesting and well-paid. I found it at long last. It was a courier service. I worked at the computer breaking down the Moscow's zones by couriers. I worked there for 3 years. To this day I still know all of the Moscow zones, but now it doesn't come in handy very often=)

What is your first job and when did you start it? How was it?
