Learning English for Spanish Speakers Does anybody know of some nice apps that are directed to Spanish speakers for learning English.
It's for a complete beginner.

Thanks Alessio. Yes, memrise is great! I've used it a lot.

For Spanish I love apps like Spanish Injection, where they teach you basic conversations:

Is there anything similar for English?

There is an English course for Spanish speakers on Duolingo.

The makers of Duolingo also have Tinycards -app for iOS, and you can use it also on PC. Not available for Android.

For a similar flashcards -type app for Android, I'd suggest Anki ( https://apps.ankiweb.net/ ). The Android app is free, you can use it on the web or on PC for free as well but the iOS app is a whopping 25 USD.

Both programs support basic audio files, images and text for the flashcards. Anki is uglier, but much more customizable. While there are ready-made packs, a really good way to learn a language is to create your own flashcards. This way the cards become more memorable and personal for you.
