The traditional number system in Korean (and Chinese and Japanese as well) is based on four digit demarcation, with special numbers for 10(십), 100(백), 1,000(천), 10,000(만), and then at every multiple of 10,000 after that, such as 100,000,000(억), 1,000,000,000,000(경), and so on.
But we follow the Western system of delimiting every three digits when writing in the mathematical digits of 0 trough 9.
It takes time to get used to these two systems.
Examples:
* 3,210,536 = 삼백이십일만 오백삼십육. (321만 536)
* 96,740,517,381 = 구백육십칠억 사천오십일만 칠천삼백팔십일 (967억 4,051만 7,381).
