A person does not need other planets [worlds]. a person need other person. This phrase is from Russian movie. In my opinion it contains a very profound and wise  meaning. Does it make any sense for you ¥

I would rephrase it,

....a person needs a pet, a dog, a cat, a fluffy floppy eared bunny ....

Yes, it really makes a great sense! We love this world because we are living with others around us. If you ask a person who the people that really means a lot to him, then his reply might be, his friends and family. He might say they are his world. So, it's not the "House" that we care, it's the "Home sweet Home" that we always consider as our world.
We all want a Home, not a House. Does my babbling make any sense ?:)

Something mystical started happening to my comment as I tried to write it here)). So, this is my third attempt .))

This phrase sounds in Russian as : "Человеку не нужны другие миры, человеку нужен другой человек" (фильм "Солярис", режиссер А.Тарковский).

Unfortunately for me I have never watched this movie and I can only guess what movie creators wanted to express by these words.

"You are not able to run away from yourself. You can fall into the trap of searching for happiness outside if you dont feel peaceful inside". That is my idea of the meaning of the phrase. You should take stock of your life and try to understand why  you stopped enjoying little things, why you feel empty, why your world stopped being comfortable place  to live in, what are you looking for on other planets ? dont think that changing planet you live on would solve all of your troubles. For the first days new people, new entertainments  really could give you new amotions. But they are still incompatible with lack of peace inside of you.

And  a person which is close to you, which can give you support and kind smile, which is ready to  eliminate your inner enemies is the only solution and remedy.

I guess it's refering to the material and spiritual needs. If this is the case I think it makes utter sense.
