Yes, that is correct. When telling about your age in English, we use the verb "to be" instead of "to have". Good luck and keep up the good work!

Nice to meet you, Michele. I hope you're able to use this site to reach your English-learning goals. One quick correction: in English, we don't say "I have 36 years" when we are telling someone our age; we say "I am thirty-six-years-old" or simply "I'm thirty-six."
