Why do so many people claim to be native English speakers when they are not? Do they really think nobody will notice?

I can say that before deciding to learn other languages I had never paid attention to Russian and I found that language insane.

However, this year that insane language started to catch my attention and I fell in love with it.

I can say that Russian is taking me out of my comfort zone, it's totally the opposite of the languages I'm used to and I like that. Not mentioning the accent and how russians live.

I can't wait to speak Russian, can't wait to be able to read books in Russian.

so powerful...

1 Intellectual challenge - it's different from most languages I have studied, and it's good to challenge oneself

2 I'm a fan of the folk music and want to understand it.

3 Would like to be able to read folk tales.

Every language looks insane, if you look from outside. You just need to become more close to it. English language is everywhere now, so it sounds familiar even for foreigners.
