About Education - Samurai x Japanese

Hi!

Some time ago I saw an interesting japanese behavior in Brasil.

They picked up all trash when they were on the futball stadium.

Yes, it is a great habit and many brazilians don't do this when they go to watch footbal match.

I would like to know if the japanese education of the nowadays come from of the philosophy of samurai (seven virtues of bushido)

I apologize if I am saying something wrong ... I've always got this dobt.

Thanks in advance!

1 - Righteousness and Rectitude

2 - Respect

3 - Heroic Courage

4 - Honor

5 - Compassion

6 - Honesty and Sincerity

7 - Duty and Loyalty

I think some Japanese's good deeds in the stadium have nothing to do with samurai. Dont have illusions about Japanese from some fragmentary facts, please.^^ In fact, it is true that many of samurai are overestimated more than necessary, and there are many more beautified parts.

I once read a book that said the understanding of Japanese culture did not come from understanding the Samurai or their code.  Japanese culture springs from the small, somewhat crowded fishing and farming villages.  Understanding that psychology might give you more insight to the culture.

I remember this well- this was during the last world cup.   I thought it was very impressive that the Japanese fans were doing this.

Ive never been educated the spirit of Samurai or Bushido but, as a Japanese native, i don't think the attitude of the japanese had a relationship with such the virtues. Indeed, some Japanese like me were told from their parents to show respect and politeness to others. I think the experiences or customs made them behave like that. In a nuts shell, it's a question of how they were educated in their childhood. Nowadays Japanese people come to recognize the importance of environment and the thought might made them do it somewhow.
