Keywords for English culture in USA and UK countries I think international students should have an overview knowledge about the most important events happened and happening in the USA or UK. 

Some told me to read about nature like global warming and others think it is good to know something about the most well-known scientists or experiments like شومسكي.
Please, if you have some good keywords to search let me know about them

Global warming is not a regional phenomenon it concerns the whole world. The scarcity of water is a huge problem . There are some countries that are practically pumping up from the soil all their water reserves and will dry out in some decades. The next big waves of refugees will be climate refugees.

Pollution is another big problem. Look up on Google the list of the most polluted cities in the world.
