In Emilia Romagna (almost) any restaurant offers excellent food and the people are welcoming and nice. The beach is huge, if you like sand and a lot of people. Rimini has also a vibrant nightlife with many clubs, but I didn’t test them so I can’t make any recommendation. If you go there by plane, you can take a train to Ravenna if you want have just one day dedicated to culture.

Personally been at Va Mo Là and the Gessetto, close to the city center, can't vouch for the fettuccine but they have some nice tortellini.
