I'm not so fond of dessert, there are few that I really like, Chocolate Ice cream or chocolate mousse are some of the few of my list :p
And I like "Brigadeiro" too (a brazilian recipe as described by @Claudia). In my state, Rio Grande do Sul it is called "Negrinho". It's a chocolate dessert that's very similar to a chocolate truffle, it's prepared with powdered chocolate, sweetened condensed milk, ground chocolate, butter and some other ingredients when you try a variation of the original recipe. The instructions I'll keep as a Brazilian secret :p kidding, I'll try to describe it in the future, gotta go now.. see ya..
For me it has to be sticky toffee pudding. https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/3682/ultimate-sticky-toffee-pudding
An easier and also amazing option would be lemon meringue pie: http://allrecipes.com/recipe/15093/grandmas-lemon-meringue-pie/
Finally I simply love making these chocolate fondants, people love you forEVER after they've had these! https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/8168/chocolate-fondant
In Spain we usually eat Toriijas at this time of the year. There are a kind of fried bread with milk, and its delicius! We alsa eat "brazo de gitano" (chocolate cake with circular form)
Maybe you can cook a carrot cake, it is always yummy!
