Please can you tell me if these sentences are correct?
she is a painter as is/was her father
she paints very well as her father does/did
In these cases after "as"
when I use the verb to be I should put the verb before of the subject?
when I use the other verbs I should put the verb after the subject?

In both these cases, you should use an inversion of the verb and subject. For example:
She is an artist, as was her father.
She paints very well, as did her father.

Ok thank you very much. I received a correction by a native english in this sense. Maybe he mistook something though..:)
