Elisa you must have a real talent in picking up the accents of the languages you learned.

But do you really think that five minutes a day in every language are enough to progress? Sounds little bit of a marketing slogan.

The article was interesting but I have to say I’d be pretty skeptical of the claim that very many people can do this. If they can, that’s wonderful, but big claims require big evidence. It’s a bit like the claims of „how to make $5000 per day and never leave your house.“ 

Plus, I’m not sure of the practicality of it. 13 languages is quite a few, and learning them at the same time? You can certainly learn something about 13 languages at the same time, but what’s the end result? Will you be, as the say, a „Jack of all trades but master of none?“

I‘m not convinced this is possible, if fluency is a goal in any one of the languages you are talking about. Like what many have said, it sounds like a marketing ploy. I listened to 5 YouTube videos the other night by people who claimed to speak multiple (like 10) languages and what their approaches were. Not a single one of them said a thing about how they accomplished this, nor did any one of them demonstrate that they even spoke one foreign language fluently. All I heard were big claims, rather trite and unimaginative suggestions, and a few little simple phrases out of about 5 languages anyone could grab off the Internet in 30 minutes of research. So, I remain a skeptic.

So I read this article two times, and I don't think the blog post answered "How To Learn 13 Languages At The Same Time" unless the answer is "well, you just need to study all of them in the same day."

Great, but how should I do that effectively? Lots of marketing speak, not a lot of content.

I tend to agree with Liva on this one. A big issue is quality vs. quantity.
