what is the movie or book that had a positive impact in your level in English ?

Well, the first cartoon I watched was "Brother Bear" but it was so interesting that I was extremely motivated after watching it.
Generally, I learnt a lot of vocabulary through songs. I listened to my favourite bands and remembered lyrics. Now there's a good resource called lyricstrainer. It's a website where you can practice any language through music and short videos

I couldn't tell how many movies, TV shows, documentaries, and YouTube videos I watched in English. Even if I am struggling with something at work I would search for a video in English that could help me with it. I would easily say that audiovisual resources are responsible for at least 60% of my results learning this language so far.
The first time I tried without subtitles was in an episode of House M.D.
