Resolved questions?!

After asking a question you can read the answer and choose the best one.

I don't know, if that is a bug or so, but it already happened quite often.

When I start with a question, then it get resolved automatically after a few days.

This is really strange, because I'm sure that I have not voted the best answer.

It isn't always the case, but it is happening in about 10% of the questions.

Do you have this problem too?

I think the best answer is choosed automatically by visitor votes (whose more). If all answers have equal rating the question remains unresolved.

Hello Nasib,

I think that it would undoubtfully be more logical if only you could vote for the best answer and resolve the question. It could be a bug and I would recommend you to contact tech support on that.

To Антон,

I agree with you to a point but it is not as simple as it seems. Could you imagine the situation when there are several correct answers but written in totally different ways. Who else other than the person who asked the question could identify which answer has the most sense for him, and thus, is the best?

Imagine such situation:
You've asked a question, e.g. what should you use in some sentence Past Simple or Presenter Perfect. You got two answers, one recommends the first choice, the second -- another one. Users come and see that there are answers already, and they just vote, instead of clicking on their keyboard in order to persuade you.

Wouldn't it be more logical if I could only vote because I have asked the question?

Sometimes I get confused because it becomes resolved even I haven't read the answers yet.
