Does earning points on italki thrill anyone?
Apparently, when we correct someone's notebook entry or post a notebook entry by him/herself or start a discussion and so on, our points go up accordingly. Do you often check your point once you made an activity?

Earning points on italki is the main goal of my life. I literally cry myself to sleep when I don't obtain my daily share of points here. Do you see any more noble purpose of existence?

I'm the same as Andrés. Striving to earn meaningless points that serve no actual purpose and cannot be used as a form of online currency is just the highlight of my day.

I never look at my points, because they really don't mean anything here at italki. It would be nice if there was some type of incentive linked to the points.

I like to be „rewarded“ with the points, although I do not really check them often. As a teacher, I think it may be indicative of my activity in the community :) When I choose a teacher or accept friend requests, I do check the points to see how involved the person is.

I think the italki points are a good indicator to see how active someone is in the community.
