Is the use of "for' poetic only as conjunction?

I've heard that this use of 'for' is poetic: "for of such is the kingdom of heaven"

Now I saw this : materials with a low coefficient of friction for sliding parts such as bearings. But how does this sound like?

Is it a difference in US and UK or a clause and phrase?

Thanks for your inputs. :)

I think I've self-solved it by reading some dictionaries. :P

It's the difference if it's a conjunction or a preposition!
