What does that mean "music doesn't leave open a lot of career choices."? Anyone , who can give me a detailed explanation of grammar of this sentence "if i was to write a book,i wouldn't use a ridiculous name called "Topsy Krets "!"

If the author intends to use conjunctive mood ,why does he use "was "instead of "were "?

I don't see a grammatical problem with it.

I think it means that if you study music, there won't be many job opportunities available to you.
