What books do you recomend?

Hi guys,

I'm a portuguese speaker learning english, and I'm also a teacher. I would like to know which literature books you like the most, for learning english.

Thanks!

When I was at B2 level, I really enjoyed reading novels by Haruki Murakami. The language is simple, and his stories are interesting and they keep you engaged. I also enjoyed reading by Christopher Isherwood (A Single Man) and Breakfast at Tiffany's by Truman Capote. :)

Hello, I'm reading Harry Potter and I'm liking a lot. I think more important is you like about the context of the history like this your reading isn't bad and no interesting.

You can basically read anything you want, it really just depends on your preference, what type of genre you like.

Maybe you can start off with a classic like "The old man and the sea" by Ernest Hemingway or a more modern book like "Thirteen reasons why" by Jay Asher.

I've actually found a great article that talks about great books for ESL learners, so feel free to check it out.
