Mexico has a tough group in the first round, going against Sweden, South Korea and the champs, Germany :P So they will have to play very well against them all if they want to make it to the second round! I hope at least they can get a tie against Germany :)

I agree with you @sum1, Italy being missing from the World Cup doesn´t feel quite right to me either. The same goes for the Netherlands. Looking at the group chart I find the most interesting the one with Brazil, Switzerland, Costa Rica and Serbia. Costa Rica played beautifully in the last World Cup so I hope they´ll go far again, but I wouldn´t dismiss Switzerland easily and Serbia might be a difficult match as well. i don´t doubt Brasil will be in the second round, but still those matches might be fun :)

As a Man United fan, England always have a special place in my heart and I wish them well. I do not know the current squad of the English national team though.
It's also sad that Italy couldn't make it to the world cup. Italy has always been one of my favorite teams.

I've never liked soccer but I would still love to see Peru crush France in the group phase. (I'm French-Peruvian, I can say that :p). I don't really care what happens besides that, to be honest.
