There is a rule called "음절의 끝소리 규칙(Ending sound of syllable rule)" and the ending sounds of syllable should only be one of ㄱ,ㄴ,ㄷ,ㄹ,ㅁ,ㅂ,ㅇ. Therefore ㅂ changes to ㅁ.

You're expecting ㅂ to be the same as B, and it doesn't work exactly like that. Yes, the lips close but then the mouth moves to an ㄴ position. Your phrasebook might show "haMnida", but even then that's not perfectly accurate.
