Learning Urdu

I have seen that there are a few people who are interested in  learning Urdu and the few questions they have expire without getting any answer, even though there are plenty of people here who could answer those questions.

I also wanted to see if there are any articles in Urdu, but language option for Urdu is "other" and that's quite a lot of articles  to go through.

However, there is a plenty of Urdu teachers available here, so I guess there is some place where help is available.

The Urdu learning community here is quite small and my guess is these people have family roots in Urdu speaking cultures like Pakistan and India.

My suggestion is that when you have any questions in Urdu, message some Urdu speaking people and request them to answer the question in "Answers" section so they are available for other people to see as well. Same goes for the discussions and Notebooks.

Speaking of notebooks I just checked out, it seems people are getting some corrections, so that is good.

Best of Luck!!!

@Matthew, have fun learning Urdu, and feel free to message if you have any questions.

Generally if you understand hindi you can understand Urdu aswell,  the main difference is in writing.
