With the upcoming royal wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, you may have read about the discussions in the USA and the UK about the future of the US presidency.
Do people like the idea of Harry and Meghan becoming king and queen of the USA at the end of Donald Trump's term in 2020?
Is there merit in the idea of having heads of state who are not political and instead do things like open new schools and give prizes at ceremonies?
Is it fair that some countries have a lot of royals whereas others have none at all?
For me, the big advantage of monarchs in the modern age is that they don't get very involved in political controversy. Also, there are a lot of royals in the UK and I think it's only fair that the UK lets some members of its royal family take up royal positions in other countries. We shouldn't be selfish.
What do other people think?
I wish them to be king and queen of Iraq. It would be a generous initiative if UK denoted some of their outstanding royals.
We need them ergently because the political parties didn't succeed to compose the new government up to now. The elections took place in last April and we are governed now by an expired one, this is a quite tragi-comedy.
So, you 'do' have a sense of humor.
To those who don't get it. It's April Fools' Day.
