The Mate in the argentinian culture.

Each culture has its own customs that are essencials to that culture – be ways to dressing, foods, rituals or simply tradicionals objets- although to the foreing´s eyes they represent other think. In Argentina, one of those simbolic costums is the Mate, a drink or infusion made of Yerba Mate. May be for the foreing is just a simple drink but for the argentinians is much more than that. The mate personify the argentinian culture and the nacional solidarity. When people come together to drink Mate is just a “excuse” for talk, relax and share time with friends and family, it means that is a very important part of the social life.

Mate in the Argentinian Culture.

Each culture has its own special customs that include they way they dress, their food, rituals, as well as traditional objects. To the foreigners eyes these represent other things. In Argentina, one of the symbolic customs includes mate; a drink or infusion made of Yerba Mate. Foreigners may think it is a simple drink, but for Argentinians it is much more than that. Mate personifies the Argentinian culture and national solidarity. When people come together to drink mate it is an "excuse" to talk,  relax, and share time with friends and family which means that it is a very important part of social life.

I had "mate" many years ago with some people from Uruguay and I thought then that you really have to grow up with this drink to like it!  On the other hand, I had no problems with "dulce de leche".

I recommend that you check the spelling of your text, especially words that have a Latin origin. For example, there are no words in English that include -cion.  However, there are  lots of words that include -tion.  Don't forget capitals e.g. Argentine.  We use capitals for adjectives relating to proper names also.

Yes, the Mate has a very particular flavor!

Thanks for your recommendation, I will check the text.
