Do you have the emotional attachment or any other special feelings about your car?
I wonder if it’s only me who has a kind of “ craziness” or being rather wacky about my car, in terms of the emotional attachment.
For example, I feel  something like remorse and even being a betrayer when I change my car to another one. Moreover, I always need a few months to get used to a new one emotionally and don’t feel to be really happy at the beginning, even when the car was upgraded.

Modern cars are so advanced and required less and less participation of humans in driving. They practically “ make” decisions and if something breaks, the consequences might be more then serious. These thoughts come to my mind periodically especially when I’m a witness of a serious car crashes or do risky driving myself.

What  about you?  Do you have any special feelings about your car?
What are your “relationships”? Do you easily change it when the time comes?
Thank you

It's great to know that I'm not alone in my tendency to animate objects:)

Oh, by the way, does someone talk to flowers? I do:))) besides a wide circle of friends in a real life.

No drugs taken))

Dan:) and we even need to feed cars as pets giving some petrol. I prefer g-drive to spoil my car (or me) a bit:)

I am only still emotionally attached to my first car, a 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS. But even that is lessening as time goes on.

So I understand your wackiness quite well, Natasha. :D

Many people do treat their cars almost as pets. As it happens, my wife and I do not. However, my wife was an enthusiastic bicyclist for many years, and she gave names to every one of her bicycles.
