A movie that relates to your project is "Shower" that was released in 1999 in China (I think) and 2000 in the U.S. with subtitles. I know that this is not exactly what you are looking for but you might be able to use it in some way. I watched this in my Chinese class a couple years ago and it is about a family that owns a traditional Chinese bath house and how modernization and developments were affecting their town and the historical bath house. I think maybe the government was planning to build a newer city or something...? Anyway, I hope you might be able to use this or at least find it interesting!
