The Da Vinci code, so far, by Dan Brown. I strongly recommend it. I read it in the original language, not a translated version. It poses a historical question that dates back to the days of Jesus Chirst and leaves it to one´s criteria to believe it or not, but I personally prefer to believe what the book suggests. Morever, aside from the interesting historical data, the plot is outstanding. It´s a great read.

A really good series that I read was "Bloody Jack" by L.A. Meyer.

It's set in about 1800 and is about a girl who dresses as a boy so that she can join the british navy. It has a really interesting storyline and should be good for you to practice English with because there is not too much complicated vocabulary. I enjoyed it a lot.

The first book is called "Bloody Jack: Being an Account of the Curious Adventures of Mary 'Jacky' Faber, Ship's Boy" (Bloody Jack Adventures Book 1).

You can buy the paper book or get an ebook/kindle version. It is also available for free online at 8novels.net; this should be the link for the first book if you want: https://www.8novels.net/Young_Adult/Bloody_Jacky/

I think you would really like this book - it's really good!

Let me know if you read it and how you like it!

"If tomorrow comes", it's a good book and not that difficult, you'll learn new words but you can understand the meaning of almost all of them by the context
