Is it possible to think of something that does not exist?

Today again I am fully confused because I am again thinking about the invention.

I do not know how they think

sometimes I fell all things present all the time between us we only need to realize it

If it is not so how they invent it

It's a very abstract discussion and your responses are quite basic. I recommend starting like this, "Thank you for your point."

As for me, I believe that we can create mental images and concepts that do not exist outside our imaginations, but these things derive from real things e.g. centaurs don't exist outside the imagination but people and horses do.

I think we do this all the time. After all, the fictional events described in stories like "Harry Potter" or "Lord of the Rings," discuss different types of concepts that don't exist in the real world, such as magic. Even though it does not exist, we have a word to describe it and conceptualize it. I think as long as a word is given to a particular idea or object and that word is defined, whether real or not, it can be imagined quite easily. I don't think the brain itself differentiates between what is real and not real, as long as an image is attached to it. Only our consciousness can distinguish between what is real or not.

Yeah, that's perfectly possible. It's called imagination. The best writers and inventors have had it.

"If you can dream it, you can do it" (Walt Disney) ...one of my favorite quotes. Our imagination is the starting point to create everything..

@RummyHarry

I see what you mean, but where where did those stories come from? They did not exist from the origin of humanity; they had to be imagined into existence. The concepts that are discussed in those stories were created solely by the minds of people.
