Alcohol consumption among the young is often a problem.  They are experimenting with drinking, making their own decisions and are not aware of the consequences or their limits.  Ok, so now you have learned one of the consequences, even the next day you can still feel drunk or hung-over, and even be over-the-limit for driving ( driving drunk)

So do you like feeling like that?  No?  Then moderate your drinking of alcohol.  It is your choice.

The hangover can be because you still have a high amount of alcohol in your system or it could be because you are dehydrated. Many people chose to drink water at the same time they drink alcohol.  One glass alcohol then one glass water.

Also look at why you are drinking more. Are you stressed, depressed? Do you drink more when around certain friends or doing certain things?  Do you feel pressured by friends etc to drink more than you want to?   Do you think you will be considered unsocial and not part of the groups if you chose to drink less?  Changing your behavior or recognizing why you drink can help moderate your drinking. Remember you have to make that decision. No one can make it for you.   You can also change your behavior and try to only drink when eating food etc.

Finally look at how much money you are spending on alcohol.  Do you have that much to spend on drinking? Is the expense worth it or would you rather spend the money on something else?

Hope this helps:)
