Should promotional girls be banned?

What do you guys (and gals) think?

I think it sort of degrades men because it's some men that make idiots of themselves at seeing those girls.

Well, I considered it. In general

(1) inequality, gender stereotypes.

I have no problem with stewardesses etc, as long as gender roles aren't imposed too strictly in general (and empolyment opportunities are mostly equal). Funny traditions are a good thing.

Let they promote female astronauts instead may be?

I certainly see no problem with objectification. Yes, when I see an undressed lady, I do not see 'objectification', I see an undressed lady. If there is some, then the girls applying to this job like it! As everyone involved is fine...  what's the problem? Female viewers or what?

I need a strong reason to intervene and ban what other people enjoy.

This short video would be of interest to English learners who think they know what “British accent” means.

1. The so-called feminist they have chosen as a guest is indeed stupid. doesn’t seem to be have very cogent arguments to present.
2. I still have no idea what the four ladies do for a living.
3. Youtube is now suggesting I watch something called “The Dating Guru Who Says British Women Are 'Overweight' and 'Entitled' | Good Morning Britain.” Watch more videos about Brits? I think not ;)
4. Now I'll need to “delete cookies,” or whatever it’s called.

@KP - I pretty much agree with what you wrote, I think. The problem is "modelling" isn't like any other job: there are occasions where you want only females, only males, or a mixture of both (no problem here). If you are a gambling company, for example, and want to advertise to millions of predominantly male fight fans, then putting your logo on a male model's tight-fitting trunks in-between rounds isn't the best idea.

@Phil - They are all paid models. One is a boxing ring girl, one is a darts walk-in girl, one is a grid girl, and the other is a snooker walk-in girl. Regarding her lack of arguments, there isn't a lot to say, really. You either believe a business/individual should be allowed to hire a model(s), male or female, for advertising purposes and that it should be up to them to decide what gender of a model(s) they hire, or you believe it should be regulated somehow (ensuring a certain % of males get hired too, for example) or banned. Personally, I belong to the first group.
