Looking for a Portguese language partner from Portugal!

Hi there,

I am looking for a Portuguese language partner from Portugal and not Brazil as I want to learn European Portuguese. I am planning on moving to Portugal soon so I want to take my learning seriously. I am a complete beginner so I will need a lot of help and as I can't talk much Portuguese I will have to talk some English which may help you. My preferred method of communicating would be via facetime. The ideal partner I am searching for would either be

1) A native Portuguese speaker that is a beginner in English so we can learn at a similar speed together

or 

2) A native Portuguese speaker that can understand English too a good level and is willing to help me more than I can help them.

You are right, they are different and I am not only talking about the accent.

Sorry you are being downvoted! Can't imagine why. Brazilian Portuguese and European Portuguese sound very different, so there is good reason to specify your preference. Good luck - there are more Brazilians active on italki than Portuguese.

Hello there,

You can also look for people from Angola, Guinea Bissau, Mozambique, etcetera. It's easier to you to find people from these countries and they speak portuguese with Portugal accent.
