Is a human feature, which is not associated with any educational or living level for those who are characterized by it... But unfortunately it seems that modesty is only recognized by humble people... and those who are full of themselves will never get it through their heads

I would agree with that. I met people from all walks of life, and there are modest and immodest amongst the middle and the lower classes. Amongst them all. Although I do find the middle class rather less modest than the lower class. That is solely my experience and I might not have met enough of them.
