I'm studying in my English School about past tense and irregular verbs in the past. So, help me.
Tell me, how was you last vacation? What did you make?
Do you know Brazil? What did you make here?
I was in Rio once, I thought it was beautiful and people were very friendly. I found it very odd that no one was swimming. I am from Long Island in New York and am very used to ocean beaches so I figured I would show the non swimming locals how it was done.
So I swam around, body surfed a few waves and some local people were watching me. I thought I was doing ok. I turned around and waved to my wife on the beach and I noticed that the water level had suddenly dropped from chest high to under my knees. I turned to the ocean just in time to see a monster wave that was about to pummel me.
Well the wave crushed me, flipped me over several times, rubbed me a little on the sharp sand/rocks and I nearly lost my swim suit. I stumbled back on to the beach where the local people were having a bit of a laugh. But it worked, they shared a beer for my performance and we met some new friends :-)
I stayed out of the water after that!
Hello!
