An importance of sense of humor: what are your thoughts?
Hello everyone!
What do you think about the importance of sense of humor? I mean in general and in the study of language in particular.
I talked to some people, I would like you to laugh, smile more, joke with me over mistakes in the conversation!) It's really fun. In my opinion, this is how you can successfully learn a foreign language - through positive and pleasant emotions.
What are your thoughts on this topic?

Some time passed and I was once again convinced of the importance of a sense of humor when communicating. Now having tried it in practice.
Also I would like to add that a positive is extremely important! First of all, the positive must come from oneself. Maybe I'm telling a trivial thing, but ...This is vital.
On the Italki I did not come across any rude or impolite person! Thanks to the site for this.

The sense of humor is important to me. I think it is the great dopant in learning any new language. I believe it is even more effective than a small amount of alcohol, which similarly could be good for speeding up the freezing state of the mind. However, alcohol reduces the brain's mental abilities, contrary to the humor.
I only can see the potential back side effect, when it is used by the people with very different cultural backgrounds, and people who too deeply tactful and not open, what prevents the clarification of the joke where it needed.

The sense of humor is just one part of the educational process, sometimes alot of that will lead some people to misconduct and to misunderstanding .So you shouldn't do that if you aren't sure who you are dealing with.
