The problem of time zone
Time zone, this is a problem when you are looking for people to practice English. For example, if you live in the United States, it is difficult to talk to people in Europe because there are many hours apart. The question is: do you practice English with people from other countries who live far away from you? And if you do this, do you practice your conversation at any time of the day?
It is very difficult to find free time to talk to people, because nowadays people are very busy and it is normal to have problems finding people who can speak.

Im happy to help and glad to speak English with someone, but the time differences are a big problem. Many people forget. I’m in California so there’s a 9 hous time difference between me and the European Continent (they’re 9 hours ahead of me). Their 11:00 in the morning is my 2:00 at night (or as we say 2am). That’s not a good time for me for a Skype chat. People wanting to speak from The Middle East or Russia have to remember they’re 10 Hours ahead. I can’t skype at 2:00 AM my time with someone 10 hours ahead. Sorry. Sometimes I have to get up terribly early for work, once or twice a month, (at that ungodly hour of 6:00 for work ). So, Skype chats really need to be scheduled and agreed in advance.

Did you know that South Africa is in the same time zone as Spain and that there are some very good English teachers down there?

you are right, but for me if i can't find someone to speak with. i often speak to myself or even my cat, people might find that's crazy. but it's okay for me , plus on that i have an app on my phone called Assistant from google and i think it's useful too to speak. sometime i speak in english with my friends too. the point is don't stop if you can't find someone to practice with. you have to work on your own until you find someone, watch movies/listen to songs/read books and always think in english.
after all i hope you will find someone to practice with ^^

East Coast here - East Asia works great because our early mornings are early evenings there and vice versa. But yes, US-Europe is tough - the only thing I have found that works is weekend chats, which need to be prearranged as everybody is out and about :-).

I have a friend from Russia and we can't practice speaking (English) because I only can in my evenings so, when in my country is 7:00 PM in Russia is 01:00 am already, so it's impossible for us. So most of the time I look for partners in USA or Canada
