Word of paradise
Hello every body. Did you khow word of paradise is an ancient persian word that means was persian Garden?

Wow. I didn't know Roshanak. It could be proudly bcz we have invented Paradise word not Hell and it shows me we were looking for everything peacefully in contrast of nowadays.

It's not tree Ruben.the mean was heaven.
In 3000 B.c people in Iran built around the houses gardens and called them "pe ere deese" .and then this word in anceint persian language turn to "paradise" . And then in farsi was "pardis" that means was heaven. (People in Iran image garden like heaven).

I didn't know that. It is interesting how often one stumbles over words that turn out to be Persian. It is my next language on the list for sure :)

In Armenian paradise is called դրախտ (drakht). I know that it is a borrowing from Persian. But it means tree in Persian))
