Are there major differences between French spoken in Morocco and in France? I'm learning French for work and plan to visit Northern France in October. I would also like to visit Morocco in the future and perhaps learn a little Arabic. I just wondered if it's majorly different. Thanks.

I agree with what is said above :) there should be no difference really, if you're learning French you'll be understood in France and in Marroco. Then yes, they may have some different vocabulary for some words or certain things but no major difference :). Have fun in these two countries.

Hello Jehan,

I do not agree about non similarity of the french language in Morocco and in France. Don't be confused by the everyday language that people use in my country ( Morocco) which is a melange of Tmazight, Hebrew, Arabic, Porteguese, French and Spanish; and the language that we use in entreprises and work places which is french.
