did italki ends the the option of chating btween 'students'

hi everybody, 

I logged in in this application on my mobile to improve my english long time ago, in this few days i did an upgrade, and  i discovered that (if i understand) that italki denies discussion between 'students', is that right ? 

cuz by that way i made friends (i want to make more :) ) and i got the chance to improve my english
