As we all know, learning a new language means making mistakes. We will make mistakes, you can't escape from them. The only way is laughing from your mistakes and learn.
Once, when I walked too much and I barely could walk next morning, so I told my friend in French: "my ham is hurting" because I said "jambon" (ham) instead of "jambe" (leg). My friend, who's learning German, said "Arschmittwoch" (ass wednesday) instead of "Aschermittwoch" (ash wednesday). I heard about a girl who had some problems with Air Canada and said to a girl who was working there "I'm hungry" instead of "I'm angry" (she got a free meal, at least).
And you? Do you have any funny stories with your mistakes?
The history of a friend, we were hanging out with british friends and one of the guys said he felt bad and my friend answered him, do you want to buy drugs? instead of " do you want buy medicine?
