hello. the pronunciation is very similar, that is true.
but the meaning is different.
" I learn to" is in the present.
" I learned to" is in the past.
to make it clear which one you are speaking, you just need to speak " learned" a little more slowly and make sure the d at the end is pronounced. the letter e at the end of learned... learn(e)d is not normally pronounced. so the word sounds like "lernd"
