Nada... I mean that if I want to see the last comment in a popular discussion (a discussion that has 10 or 11 pages of comments) I must:

scroll down the first page, then click on the Show More link to go to the next page of comments, then wait for the page to load, then repeat the same sequence of actions 10 more times.

If italki designed and used a feature at the end of the first page that we could select and click on that would take us to the last comment (i.e., the last page of comments) then we would not have to scroll and click 10 or 11 times to get to the end of the discussion.

It would be so easy for italki to add the "Go To End" or "Go To Last Page" button for us to click.

Current method = 20-30 actions
"Go to Last Page" link number of actions = 1 scroll + 1 click = 2 actions

...efficiency

Richard, it might help if you get on your knees when you're begging.

Pushing users to use scroll up or scroll down more than 3 pages to grab needed information is the worst manner for an user to view and explore the pages in terms of convenience but Italki.com is doing in this way.  I guess the designer has different points of view about the usage.  Scrolling up and down is the most time consuming effort and wasteful of users' precious time and attention, which can be overall replaced by a fairly workable onsite search engine. .

Please do not ban me due to this comment. (to the manager)

John...

My education continues :)

I think I was imagining that italki (a website) could go to any page of search results the way Google can or the way that MS Word (and others) can GO TO (A SPECIFIED PAGE) with one click and no waiting period.

So, if I understand your explanation properly, then the problem is related to the fact that italki does not load the whole Discussion and only calls up pages upon request.

Thank you for your excellent, clear explanation and recommendation.
