Sheelie
some Polish questions

Hello! Czesc, dzien dobry.

I had a few Polish questions, if anyone could help I would appreciate it very much!

- How do I say ' I miss you ' to anyone - friend, or family?

- Is there a pattern or common verb stem for the two phrases 'see you later' and 'goodbye' because they seem quite similar:

Do widzenia / Do zobaczenia.

- How do you distinguish between the informal and formal: I believe this is informal?

Jak sie masz, or Czy mowisz po angielsku?

- What is the best way to say ' I like ' or ' I really enjoy / love ' in terms of language:

I would like to say, ' I love to learn foreign languages ' is this right?

Kocham języki obce. Bardzo lubię języki obce.

Hello! It should be probably in the 'Answers' section.

' I miss you ' you may say "Tęsknię za Tobą" but only to very close person. More literally it is "Brakuje mi Ciebie".

"Do widzenia" is probably more formal and more common in use than "Do zobaczenia".

Jak sie masz - is not formal, and used between friends.

' I love to learn foreign languages ' - I would rather use 'like', so "Lubię się uczuć obcych języków."

Using "kocham" in this context is not wrong but it would be too much emphasis in that. It sounds like you were crazy about learning languages.

Good luck and enjoy Poland.
