Rice and beans are important components in the Brazilian dietary life.
We are used to eat them twice a day: lunch and dinner.
A lot of people don't eat that at dinner, because it can be "heavy", or they prefer eating earlier. However, comparing to other countries, we are very used to eating at (late) night.
We have a lot of very sweet desserts and a lot of foods with italian, japanese, african and portuguese "accents" (as we have a great cultural diversity, due to a massive imigration during our History).
