Spanish speaking help

Hi

I am trying to teach myself Spanish and the thing I’m missing is being able to speak with a real native speaker.

I have a serious fear factor about speaking in Spanish generally and my lack of practice outside reading of an iPad isn’t helping.

im a normal bloke as normal gets married kids love fishing football karate and films . I’m a  geek who loves computers computer games and will try and talk about anything with anyone

I’m looking for someone I can help with English nd can give me practice in Spanish in return.

I appreciate your time spooke

Spooker,

Let me help you and ALL beginners of ANY language.
At this stage, the beginner one, you do not need anyone to start.

1. Immersion stage (A1-A2)
What you need is a good audio course which can be used anywhere: in a car, bus, train, kitchen etc. You will not spend money and valuable time on scheduling, preparations, stress you name it. Do it at your own pace and level of understanding until finish. (approx 3-6 months).

2. Grammar stage (A2-B1,2)
Upon completion the audio course you will need a standard course of grammar
(of course, you can start practicing grammar at any time when you feel the need for it.)
But do not over do it. At this stage one have to get familiar with the language.
The grammar will go inseparably from reading, writing, listening and speaking and video.
At this stage you'll acquire a confidence and a drive to use the language. (6-12 months).
What is most important at this stage your mind will stat using IMAGES (but not words) to express itself.

3. Completion (B1-B2)
By this time you'll have to be ready to speak to some one (better a teacher) because you try your language skills and to demonstrate you knowledge and gain the confidence and polish the grammar. (min. 12 months....)

I personally used Pimsleur I-V & Plus, multiple textbooks and forums and 1-2 hours every day.
Good luck
