This weekend picks three artists that you like in the music industry and listen to their songs. I strongly recommend to listen to an artist that sings proper English which means an artist who takes his time to spell the word out. Also, It is important to have the lyrics because it will help you getting familiar with the words and the pronunciation.
Suggested artist: Lionel Richie, John Legend, Elvis Presley, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion,

Also do not try to get the american accent or British accent because the more you focus on your accent the more your brain will take time to assimilate the words. It is better to use your native accent because the first thing you need is to know the word and saying it right.

@Rose Thank you. I believe through this thread of messages many people can learn something new to improve their language skills. We hope that we can learn from each other.

@Lukasz It is great to learn new expression, however, each expression has a different way to implement them in a sentence. For example, "John can't help himself". It could mean that John is handicapped and it could mean that John cannot resist something. In conclusion, be sure to know the context of the expression.

@Saman, It is scientifically proved that your brain is more engaged in written conversation than oral conversation; therefore, let's start with a topic in writing and later one we can generate more thought through oral conversation.

@Lukasz I hope you are doing well. Every language has their own grammatical way to structure their sentence to express a specific thought, so is English. My understanding now is that you have a battle of thought where the standard words are suppressed by the basic word. The first thing that I will encourage you to do to overcome that challenge is to go straight to the point when you are expressing your thought because the more you are elaborating when you are under stressed the more your thought will not grammatically sound. Lastly, English is a straight language if you are still developing thought in your own language and translate them into English when you are talking with someone, I strongly suggest you take pause when you are talking because this way you will sound formal, smart and expert on the subject matter.

Hi guys, I have to say something. The most irritating problem, referring to myself is feeling of stress which accompany me always, when talking in English. It does not matter if i speak with a person, that i know quite well or a person that i meet for the first time. Even if my stock of words in English is pretty good, I have a huge problem with using advanced English in face2face conversation. Always when I express my thoughts, beliefs and e.c., I'm using simple words and phrases, basing on simple grammar constructions. Very often I'm getting stuck because a proper word just has slipped my mind. But the funniest thing is that always after the conversation, when I back to it in my mind analyzing all my answers, I come up with the answers at once, without any effort nor pain. This disability makes me feel depressed and really annoyed. I try to learn how to overcome this destructive feeling, but that's really tough thing.
