1. El hobby is a recognized foreign loan word and, because it ends in a y, the plural is formed the same way as in English, los hobbies. Most people here (in the north of Spain) pronounce the h like a Castilian "j" (like the ch in Scottish loch). http://dle.rae.es/?id=KXu47LP
